They've only been making these Prosecco wines in the King Valley for a few years, but they're onto a winner. Big time. Just about everyone loves a bottle of fizz but Prosecco, an Italian grape variety, is a pure, clean, fizzy wine that tastes slightly of sophisticated apples - grown in the shadows of the blue-green Victorian Alps - no wonder people love drinking them!
And no wonder the Italian wine industry is worried, they tried unsuccessfully to ban our King Valley winemakers from producing them. Examples include Proseccos from Dal Zotto, the first to grow and make Prosecco in Australia, Chrismont, Brown Brothers and Sam Miranda.
And once you've tried it, you'll be back for more!
